Il calciomercato del Napoli potrebbe presto regalare a Spalletti un nuovo attaccante: nel mirino dei partenopei vi è infatti il Cholito Simeone, centravanti reduce da una grande stagione con la maglia dell’Hellas Verona.
La stagione da protagonista del Cholito
Il 26enne argentino è stato riscattato dagli scaligeri, che lo scorso giugno hanno versato nelle casse del Cagliari la somma di 10 milioni e mezzo di euro. È un profilo che piace molto a Spalletti, alla ricerca di un’altra punta per il ruolo di vice-Osimhen. Simeone potrebbe essere, in tal senso, l’opzione giusta, in grado di ritagliarsi uno spazio importante in vista della prossima stagione.
Parliamo del resto di un attaccante che, dopo le difficoltà riscontrate in Sardegna, si è finalmente reso protagonista di un’ottima annata. Per il Cholito un discreto bottino nella scorsa Serie A, costituito da 17 reti e 4 assist in 35 presenze. Da segnalare in particolar modo due prestazioni sontuose dell’argentino; nel giro di una settimana, rifilò addirittura 4 gol alla Lazio di Sarri ed una doppietta alla Juventus.
Le cifre dell’affare
Il figlio d’arte sembra dunque essere pronto per il successivo passo in un club dalle ambizioni superiori. Ha in tal senso già ricevuto la “benedizione” del padre Diego, che vedrebbe di buon occhio un suo trasferimento in una realtà come quella di Napoli. Sfumato Broja del Chelsea, appena passato al West Ham con la formula del prestito, è dunque ora Simeone il principale candidato al ruolo di vice-Osimhen.

L’operazione dovrebbe essere ultimata una volta ufficializzato il passaggio di Andrea Petagna al Monza di Berlusconi. Ecco che a quel punto la società di De Laurentiis sferrerà l’assalto finale per aggiudicarsi le prestazioni del Cholito. Un affare su cui si stanno limando gli ultimi dettagli ma che dovrebbe concludersi sulla base di un prestito oneroso di 2 milioni con obbligo di riscatto fissato a 15, per un totale complessivo di 17. Spalletti è pronto dunque ad accogliere un vice Osimhen di tutto rispetto, pronto a giocarsi le proprie chance in una stagione che vedrà il Napoli impegnato su tre fronti.
