Erling Haaland e Manchester City è un matrimonio già pronto per essere celebrato. Le voci di calciomercato che coinvolgono il bomber norvegese del Borussia Dortmund e i Citizens sono confermate, stavolta nientemeno che dall’account twitter della squadra di Pep Guardiola.
Da settimane ormai i rumors su questo affare si erano fatti insistenti, con le indiscrezioni dell’esistenza di un pre-accordo tra le due società inglese e tedesca. Adesso però è arrivata la conferma del Manchester City che ha detto esplicitamente di aver raggiunto questo accordo iniziale con il Dortmund. La palla adesso passerà al Club e ad Haaland, come si legge nel tweet:
Il Manchester City può confermare di aver raggiunto un accordo di principio con con il Borussia Dortmund per il trasferimento dell’attaccante Erling Haaland al Club il 1° luglio 2022. Il trasferimento rimane soggetto ai termini finali del club con il giocatore.

Su quali cifre si basa l’accordo tra i due club per Haaland? Secondo il giornalista ed esperto di calciomercato Fabrizio Romano, le cifre circolate nei giorni scorsi (75 milioni di euro) sarebbero sbagliate. Borussia Dortmund e Manchester City avrebbero trovato l’intesa sulla base di 60 milioni per il cartellino, mentre per lo stipendio bisognerà ancora trovare un accordo.
La cifra su cui c’è l’intesa però sembrano essere 375.000 sterline a settimana, lo stesso stipendio di Kevin De Bruyne per intendersi. Haaland non sarà dunque il più pagato della rosa dei Citizens ma il suo stipendio monstre lo farà comunque uno dei più pagati della storia.
Le visite mediche, ancora secondo Fabrizio Romano, sarebbero già state effettuate. Il Borussia Dortmund, nel frattempo, ha già trovato il sostituto di Haaland in Karim Adeyemi, e così la telenovela dell’attaccante norvegese può concludersi qui, con l’ufficialità data dal Manchester City.
